I'm planning on a new Slice of Life themed title for Every-Verse as a mini series based on "Family Guy" but more of a real world type sitcom. Yes, Brian and Stewie will still talk in this version, as there will be some changes to my version than the Fox series:
Peter is still the lovable idiot we know and love, but he'll still be more of a father figure.
Lois isn't going to be slutty like she was in the show, and be more of a mother and wife.
Chris is still the same but more smart.
Brian can still talk to the family, but only to them. Since I'm setting this in a real world type setting, and that means he doesn't drink booze and love human women.
Stewie still talks and is a genius but will not be an arrogant ass or try to kill Lois.
Meg is still going to be the show's punching bag, but what I have planned for her is she has been planning something that will happened in the final issue.
The cutaways are still there and we'll get one Peter V Ernie the Giant Chicken fight down the road.

Just started writing the first issue. I do plan on adding the Smiths from American Dad into the series as make them part of a shared universe as one of the FG characters will be related to them. If Meet the Griffin does well I may plan on a sequel with the Smiths as the main characters while the Griffins play a role in that one.
As for the different changes in my series from the show:
Peter's boss, Angela, is the Mayor of Quahog from Adam West as I like her to be Mayor since Adam is no longer with us.
Connie DiMico, the resident mean girl at Meg's school is going to have a secret that will change things when she and Meg had when they were kids.
Ruth, Patty, Ester, and Beth, Meg's friends, are going to play a major role in the Meg side of the mini. Yes, Beth will still be with Meg's group.
Look for cameos by other FG characters to pop up within the series.
Angela's last name in my series is Fisher, named after her voice actress, the late great Carrie Fisher.
The final issue is going to have a surprise twist that could lead to a sequel.
