Picked up the comic adaption of one of the Peter Cushing Doctor Who movies and now want to do something with that character/continuity.

So, the 'Lower Decks' trailer is horrible. Unfunny and written by people who seem to have no love/interest/knowledge of actual Star Trek.
Shame, as the idea of seeing big Trek adventures from the the lower decks POV could be great and a lot of fun.
But, this feels like a bunch of Family guy segments.

I seen the trailer and I'm not a Star Trek fan like my cousin. But if they did a Galaxy Quest revival in animated form, it would work.

Yes, Galaxy Quest hit a perfect balance between humor/story, done with actual interest and affection for the subject matter.
Lower decks was every lame Trek joke from the last 30 years and a cast that would have washed out of Starfleet Academy.

Update ( or just me rambling): Okay, I have been less than productive here, for a variety of reasons, and need to fix that.
So, following the good examples of Tobias and claypot, I'm going through my writing wish list with the idea of focusing on just a couple franchises and building my own little corner of the every-verse.
Here's the plan (wish me luck):
Doctor Who: Continuing the adventures of the 6th Doctor. I plan to do a 6 or 7 story 'season', take a break, and then do a similar deal with another classic Doctor, most likely the first Doctor.
Lobster Johnson: going to finish my Lucha Lobster trilogy.
Once I've finished with the Lobster, I'm hoping to do either something with my Ghostbusters 75 idea or the Full Moon character, Mandroid.

Cool. Focusing on just one corner of the Everyverse has worked wonders for the worldbuilding ideas for me.

Yeah, I'm doing my SOL titles at a time, then to my other titles. I do some of them in script format (Gargoyles, Meet the Griffins) and the rest in prestige format.

Yeah, I got over ambitious during future-verse and between that blowing up, the current apocalypse and being extra busy at work, my schedule went completely off the rails, as well as letting it demotivate me.
I think focusing on Doctor Who is my best bet going forward, with the occasional small project, as a reward, if I can keep on schedule.

Finished my second Lobster Johnson story and have plotted out my remaining Sixth Doctor stories for his "season'.
When that's done, I'm thinking I'll do a spin off one shot. Something like a UNIT solo or maybe something set during the Dalek Wars, before starting on a "season" featuring the First Doctor.
Was going to do something Hanna-Barbera based, but claypot has already gotten a bunch of plans, and with my sporadic pace, I feel like we'd end up tripping over each other, so I'm looking at a couple different cartoon franchises I may do something with.

Travis, I was just going to do a horror take on Scooby-Doo with most of the H-B detectives. Most of those series are just ideas for a possible H-B Universe. I still plan on doing my Jetsons series to crossover with Futurama.
I was planning doing a Spongebob story for Halloween and still plan to.
I would also like to do another Disney based series with either Ducktales or a mini style version of Kingdom Hearts.
I'm just doing Scooby and Jetsons, the rest is fair game for anyone to do.
Oh, Future Quest will be a TFTEV series.

No problem. My comment was not a grumble. I was just feeling like you have more of a plan and ability to actually keep to a writing schedule and I'm losing focus and feel like I'm intruding. Nothing you've done. It's all me.
I may get my act together and go ahead with a couple of my HB ideas, as most were stand alones and I'm keeping my dibs on the HB version of the Addams family, but going forward, I want to just focus on little corners that I create for myself.
You and Tobias are making that work and I think that's what's going to get me out of my writing slump.

Thanks. I'm just doing my titles for now, as I need to go back to my older ones first.

So, if there's anybody still out there, This is my official goodbye. My plan was to give the place till New Years, to see if there'd be any signs of life.
It's been fun. Wish 2020 hadn't gotten in the way, as I only got to write about 2% of what was on my wishlist.
Look for me at M2K, fan fiction.net and Blackcoat Press.

Since I'm told Nightmare Warriors is too complicated to fit into another site's continuity, Wattpad will be the exclusive home starting with #16. You'll also find me at DCO, DC2K, MO, M2K and Crossroads. Maybe we'll team up at another site for something.

I keep hoping that DC2K will be able to get the DC Challenge style Suicide squad project off the ground in 2021. See you around.
