I have been thinking about finally helming a Aliens Vs Predator mini series in the Fall. It would focus on Dutch and the son of Carl Weathers' character from the first Predator, as they must not only must deal and team-up with the Predators, but deal with an army of Xenomorphs that have come to Earth.
Characters like Ripley, Bishop, Hicks, and Newt from the Alien series will appear in the mini, but won't be linked to their movie counterparts since the series is set in the future.
The mini takes place years after Predator 2, as AVP and AVP: Requiem don't exist.

Cool.
AvsP was on my wishlist for the future-verse and I still have some vague hopes of writing something. Interesting to see them brought into the Every-verse and have them go up against some of the other franchise characters.

While I know the odds of the lights staying on here are slim, every time I peak in and see the Aliens/Predator line, I get this idea that it would be an anthology title, alternating straight A/P stories with ones where they face off against characters from the site.
Unrealistic, I know, but a fun dream.

I'm still going to write Nightmare Warriors for as long as I can, even if it's not at Everyverse, so there's always hope for AvP if you want to go for it,

It's on my 'to do' writing list. Love that whole messy franchise. I was just chatting.
Life is messing with my writing schedule and the future of the EV is iffy, but every now and then I get there urge to throw out a "wouldn't it b e cool if..." topic or idea and just be geeky, rather then organized and thoughtful.

Yeah, I've been there. There's a lot on my 'to do' list as well but I keep adding to the pile with new stuff, like the upcoming DC Omega stuff.

Yeah, my writers wish list never gets smaller. For every time I take something off, three new things pop up.
The craziness of 2020 has just messed with me, as I now have to work more for places to get my stuff out there, as several sites have gone into limbo.
Plus, putting more effort into getting stuff published by people who might pay me for it has cut into my fanfic time/energy.
I do my fanfic stuff for fun, and 2020 has made it into more like work.
